Are you hoping to incorporate Montessori at home but aren’t sure where to start?
Would you like suggested Montessori activities for your child that fit into any budget?
The Montessori Guide is a month-by-month digital guide, with each month’s guide including six suggestions for Montessori materials and activities based on your child’s age (0 to 3 and up). All of the monthly guide’s suggested activities are aimed at encouraging your child’s fine motor, gross motor, language, and practical life skills. Each of the six activities includes a link to buy or instructions to DIY, a description of how your child will benefit developmentally, and a detailed explanation of how to present the activity to your child. We intentionally picked beautiful, purposeful, and hopefully challenging activities to ensure they will be enjoyed for future months to come. Keep in mind many of these activities will be used well beyond 3 years!
With your purchase of a Montessori Guide, you will also receive a free Montessori Basics Guide which goes over a few of the key Montessori principles and how to apply them at home with your baby or toddler!
Some parents find it helpful to look at guides earlier/later than their child’s current age to get additional ideas and to plan ahead! Each guide or set of guides will be delivered to your inbox the same day you purchase. Check out our FAQ and Reviews Page for more questions and answers, as well as to read some parent reviews!

What Parents are saying about The Montessori Guides
“Theresa and Bridget have truly created a beautiful tool that is grounded on the Montessori method with parenting in mind. This guide is thorough for each developmental stage, yet approachable for supporting the beginning of your Montessori journey at home in a way that feels doable for daily life as a busy parent. I love gifting this to friends who are welcoming a new baby and are interested in learning more about Montessori, and what it means to apply at home from the start.” - Blanca / @whole.child.home
“I started following Teresa and Bridget months before my little was born, I was blown away by information and abundance of activities and materials they share and the way they raise their children in the Montessori method. The First and Second year guides have been such an amazing resource in helping me pick out age appropriate materials for my little one. They not only list and recommend specific toys and activities but also explain how the materials should be presented. I found the content very straightforward and nicely organized by months, I consult it every couple of weeks as I look for the next materials and activities to prepare. The Montessori Kitchen Guide (staring at 6 months) has been a wealth of information - all the wisdom of Montessori adopted to our modern life, with specific recommendations on how to build a functional kitchen, how to involve the little ones in preparing food, eating and building their independence with practical life activities and raising respectful little eaters. I’ve really enjoyed adopting all the ideas, and have learned so much from the guides and seeing joy in the eyes of my little one has been the biggest gift I could ask for.” - Dessi P. / @dessi_art
“As first time parents new to Montessori, “The Montessori Guide” gave us confidence that we were introducing age and developmentally appropriate materials and activities to our 11-month-old daughter. They were helpful, providing recommended products, benefits, and presentation information. The guide continues to grow with our now two and a half-year-old.Our whole family also loves “The Recipe Guide.” This picture guide has shopping lists (to include her in buying the ingredients) and step by step instructions to follow while making the recipe. The detailed sections on “demonstration tips for parents” have helped us foster her independence in practical life work and confidence in the kitchen. We are so appreciative of the hard work and expertise Theresa and Bridgette have put into these guides, and we can’t wait for “The Montessori Parents Guide” next!” - Ashley M / @our.montessori.journey
“We highly recommend the Montessori Guide by Theresa and Bridget! The monthly guides we purchased during Sonny's infancy made following his interests and skill set easy. We are well into our Montessori journey and are now loving the 24 Month & Up and Recipe Guide. These are both wonderful for toddlers in a Montessori home.” - Nikki / @sonnysmontessori
“The Montessori Guide is an exceptional resource. Planning activities has never been easier. The layout of the guide is simple, organized and easy to navigate. Not to mention the printables! My toddler just loves the song baskets from the 24 month guide. Theresa and Bridget have made the Montessori approach accessible by providing straightforward and well presented activities. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier!” - Christina / @playbasedlearningnyc
